Arman Khachatryan
Portfolio website design and engineering for an Armenian film and television actor — a cinematic, bilingual site that reads like a show reel: his roles, his work on set and his photographs, with a direct line to book him.

DesignNote
An actor's website is a casting director's first audition, and it has about a minute to make its case. We borrowed the grammar of the set instead of the grammar of a portfolio template: a clapperboard slate that opens the page, a dark editorial stage so the photographs carry the colour, and a film strip for the portfolio, because a contact sheet is how photographers and directors already look at faces. Everything else stays quiet, so the work is the loudest thing on the page.
01Challenge
An actor is hired on first impressions: a casting director, a producer or a brand needs to see range, credits and a face within moments, and then know exactly how to reach him. The website had to feel as cinematic as the work itself without hiding the practical information, in two languages.
02Approach
We built the site around the language of the set. It opens like a take, with a clapperboard slate and a loading counter, then settles into a dark, editorial stage. Short sections cover his work, his expertise (film and TV, commercial shoots, social media and public appearances), the projects he is in and the filmography, followed by a portfolio of photographs laid out as a film strip.

The result is a portfolio that behaves like a show reel. Visitors meet the actor through his work first, and the page ends with one clear action: write to book him. It gives casting teams and brands a faster way to judge fit, and gives him a calm, distinctive home for everything he has done.
